Silent Auction: (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) A wide variety of silent auction items including, salon certificates, $40.00 massage certificate, Kewanee Boilermaker watch, auto lubrication services, golf equipment, golf foursome w/cart, large pizza certificates, gift certificates to area merchants, a variety of restaurant gift certificates, two tickets to Wine Tasting Dinne on May 9, gloves, piano tuning certificates, two ton mechanics lift kit, floral wreath, handmade KHS afghan, meat package from Save A Lot, 6 month membership at YMCA, KHS yearbooks from classes of ’47, ’49, ’65, ’66 and ’67, and many themed gift baskets. Other items are still being added.
Live Auction: (5:00 PM) A huge variety of live auction items including, 25 assorted pieces of name brand furniture from Good’s including tables, leather sofa, chairs, king size bed and more, autographed KHS sports equipment, 2 tickets and parking pass to Chicago Bulls, set of 2 Chicago Cubs tickets, 4 box seat tickets to Peoria Chiefs, 4 upper bowl tickets to Peoria Rivermen, dinner for 2 at Jumer’s Casino and Hotel, overnight accomodations for 2 at Par-A-Dice Hotel and Casino, overnight accomodations for 2 at AmericInn, guided hunting trip at Giant Goose Ranch in Canton, boating party & picnic at Oak Run, handpainted Cub and Cardinal desks, handpainted Bears and Packers chairs, autographed St. Louis Rams wood football w/stand, Phil Mickelson autographed photo, garden arch/trellis, autographed KHS volleyball w/2008 Beach Volleyball Olympic Gold medalist Misty May, autographed copy of “The Last Dance of Chief Illiniwek”, KHS Marching Band uniforms, All In One copier/fax/scanner/printer, Harley Davidson equipment, , Photo package from Happy Together Studio, Burglar Alarm System, Other items are still being added.
Giving Tree Raffle: A beautiful 3 1/2 foot Norway Spruce will be covered in gift certificates from area merchants and raffled at $5 per ticket. Gift certificates on the tree include: gift certificate for PL Johnson’s in Bishop Hill, gift certificate for 2 lg. specialty pizzas at Cerno’s Bar & Grill, $20 gift certificate at Pioneer Club, $25 auto lubrication service at Pearson’s Auto Service, two large pizzas from Pizza Hut, $10 at Red Apple, $10 at Maurice’s, autographed copy of “The Last Dance of Chief Illiniwek”, $30 gift certificate at The Station House, 4 gift certificates for Michael’s Fun World, $50.00 gift card from Wal Mart. Over $150 worth of food and services from area businesses on a $50.00 tree!! Winner gets tree and certificates.
Special Guest and Display: (4:00 – 7:00 PM) Meet Bill Scott and see display of an exact replica of Roger Reiman’s ˝ mile and 1 mile Road Race motorcycle he used in races across the nation in the 1960’s. Also on display will be several 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Entertainment: (4-5 PM) Provided by KHS pep band students under the direction of Mr. Eric Hollaway.
Food: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Homemade Cookies, Potato Chips, Pop & Water available.
